Evening Deli Lead – FT Responsibilities: provide excellent customer service; ensure that deli workers are trained in proper procedures in regards to safety, sanitation, and cooking techniques; ensure that the kitchen is safe, sanitary, and highly productive; exchange information on a consistent basis with all staff and with the Deli Operations Manager; ensure sufficient amount of food is produced to provide and maintain well stocked displays; conduct daily inventories; make production assignments; assist with costing and pricing; work in a safe manner and promote a safe working environment; maintain department in a clean and orderly condition; assist in keeping the sales floor clean and orderly. Food Ambassador – PT Responsibilities include: Provide excellent customer service. Conduct active product and cooking demonstrations following established food safety and sanitation guidelines. Study materials provided to learn about featured product prior to demonstrations. Provide product information to customers. Assist departments with passive samples according to guidelines and expectations. Keep prep areas, equipment, and supplies clean and organized. Wash equipment and utensils and return everything to its proper place. Follow organic handling plans for certified organic departments. Perform duties in a safe manner. Qualifications include demonstrated customer skills, a joyful appreciation and basic knowledge of natural foods and cooking, regardless of personal dietary preferences, and the ability to work independently and under time constraints. Produce Stocker –PT Provide excellent customer service. Help receive deliveries. Prep and stock produce, keeping displays full and attractive. Keep all produce department areas clean, neat, orderly and safe. Work safely at all times. Follow all appropriate standards with regards to sanitation, safe food handling practices, handling and labeling of organic ingredients, allergen labeling, and special diets. Lift and carry up to 60 lbs. consistently throughout shift. Work on feet throughout shift. Work for extended periods under cold, wet conditions. Bagger – PT Provide excellent customer service.  Bag customer purchases, smile and greet customers, carry out groceries as necessary, retrieve carts from outdoors, keep baskets and carts clean and orderly.  Support other departments with cleaning, stocking, etc, during slow times. Qualifications: Regular and predictable attendance, able to work on feet entire shift, and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly, experience working with the public.
