There’s always something new to learn about food! Mississippi Market’s education program offers a variety of classes, tours and lectures about natural foods, co-ops and environmental sustainability. Our class instructors are highly educated, talented, and engaging teachers who are eager to share their knowledge about cooking, food preserving, nutrition, gardening, and everything in between! To learn more, read our teacher bios.

In addition to in-store programming, Mississippi Market provides outreach and education services in the community. Mississippi Market and other area co-ops founded Midwest Food Connection, a non-profit organization that empowers elementary school children to make healthy and responsible food choices. Contact Midwest Food Connection to find out about bringing a lesson to your child’s school!
