To become a member-owner of Mississippi Market Co-op means choosing
to follow a strong tradition: maintaining access to high quality
food and other natural products, joining with neighbors to build
a stronger community and supporting a sustainable regional economy.
Regardless of whether you elect to join our co-op or not, you
will be welcome in our stores. After all, helping supply you
with the best available foods and other natural products is a
good thing, but by building community and supporting sustainable
local economies we can change the world together.
Joining Mississippi Market Co-op is simple: just drop by either
of our stores and ask one of our cashiers for a membership agreement,
fill out the information, and make a one-time stock investment
of $90.

- Member-only special pricing on selected products each month
at Mississippi Market Co-op and at each of the other 10 Twin
City Natural Food Co-op stores.
- Case lot discounts of 10% on special orders.
- Discounted class prices at affiliated TCNFC co-ops.
- 5% discount for seniors and disabled members (note: discount
applies to most, but not all products).
- Alternating monthly home delivery of our Market Medley newsletter
and TCNFC’s The Mix.
- Annual refund proportional to individual member’s patronage
during profitable years.
- Pride of owning part of a democratically controlled neighborhood

Member rights and responsibilities
- Members can help build a stronger co-op by patronizing the
co-op, and by welcoming friends, family and associates to join
and shop.
- Members are encouraged to keep current by attending member
meetings and reading the newsletter.
- Members are encouraged to vote in board elections each October.
- Members in good standing may run for the board of directors.
- Members are welcome to attend monthly board meetings.
