Kari Binning

Kari is Mississippi Market Co-op's Marketing and Media Services Manager. Kari began at Mississippi Market in May of 2010 after working five years at Seward Co-op Grocery & Deli. "My draw to natural food co-ops began in the late nineties when I worked as a cashier at the St. Peter Food Co-op. At the time, building community around healthful food resonated with me. Now with over eight years of experience in the field and working at four different co-ops in a number of different roles, I strongly feel that food co-ops offer services to the community that cannot be matched – healthful food, quality customer service, and passionate folks that love their jobs. From the shoppers to the staff, the co-op is the community. Mississippi Market Co-op has been St. Paul's premier natural foods co-op for over thirty years and I'm proud to join this legacy as we work to strengthen our community through healthful foods, education and community outreach."
