Spark-Y is a Twin Cities non-profit that provides entrepreneurial sustainable education for youth through St. Paul high schools and partner organizations. They empower students to learn through hands-on experiences with sustainable and urban agriculture systems including aquaponics, vermi-composting, algae cultivation, and mushroom cultivation. During coursework, students learn to construct and build our systems as a team; followed by study rich curriculum covering diverse subject matter demonstrated by the projects. Your EcoStamp donation in February will help support this work.
Thank you to those who shopped with reusable bags in January and chose to donate your credit to the Minnesota Food Association‘s Immigrant & Minority Farms Conference. Together we raised $1,059 in support of the conference! It’s truely amazing how the 5¢ adds up!
