Positive Change for August: Twin Cities Mobile Market

We’re proud that our reusable bag donation program reflects our overall mission as a co-op. With Positive Change, your reusable bag credit is worth 10¢ each. Choose to keep it, or donate it to our monthly non-profit recipients.

Plus, in the spirit of making a greater impact on our community, you can round up to support these organizations every time you shop! This month, your donations will go to support the work of the Twin Cities Mobile Market.

TCMobileMarket logoThe Twin Cities Mobile Market is a grocery store on wheels that brings affordable, healthy food directly into under-resourced neighborhoods. We believe everyone deserves access to healthy food. However, many of our neighborhoods do not have grocery stores, and many residents struggle to afford fresh food prices.

The Mobile Market offers a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy products and staples like rice and dried beans. Their prices are below market rates, meaning their prices are less than what you see at full-service grocery stores.

Thanks to the Mobile Market’s food supplier partners they operate year round and offer as much local, in-season produce as possible, to bring healthy food options into neighborhoods in Saint Paul five days a week at 19 locations and they maintain a routine schedule so families can rely on the Mobile Market for their weekly food shopping.

The Twin Cities Mobile Market stops include public housing sites, schools, childcare centers, and low-income housing. They currently serve the East Side, Frogtown, North End, West Side, and St. Paul Promise neighborhood communities in St. Paul.
