Our Community Donation program provides delicious food and resources to neighborhood organizations for fundraisers and celebrations. Through this program, Mississippi Market provides gift cards to St. Paul-based registered non-profit organizations to purchase food for meetings and events, or to be used as silent auction or raffle prizes. Each year, we donate over 200 gift cards to support local community partners, totaling over $6,000!
When considering a potential donation, Mississippi Market looks at the following criteria:
- Is your organization a registered 501c3 non-profit?
- Is your organization within St. Paul or the surrounding community?
- When is your event taking place? Requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your event.
- When has your organization last received a donation from Mississippi Market? Donations are generally granted to organizations a maximum of twice during the co-op’s fiscal year (July-June).
