Image for Support Saint Paul Black-Owned Restaurants

Good food is at the heart of what we do, and Mississippi Market stands by and supports the Black-owned restaurants in our Saint Paul community. Below is a list of a few of our favorites that we are prioritizing for our catering needs, staff meals, and partnerships. We have listed ways you can vote with your dollar and support each of these Black-owned businesses.

Afro Deli

Located in downtown Saint Paul between all three of our stores, Afro Deli serves up a delicious fusion of African, Mediterranean, and American cuisine. Afro Deli is also a social venture that works to weave business together with community and culture.

Their flagship location on Eat Street in Minneapolis is open and serving as the headquarters for Pimento Relief Services, providing support to our community after the death of George Floyd.
