Visit our West 7th store throughout May for our annual spring Plant Sale and new gardening demos. Our sale is known for its great selection of Minnesota native plants, heirloom and hybrid vegetables, and herbs. This year we’ll also have a wide selection of flowering plants that support pollinators, vegetables that work well in container gardens, and an array of planted patio pots and hanging baskets. The plants will once again come from local growers including Glacial Ridge in Glenwood, Minnesota and Green Earth Growers near Prior Lake. Over the years, both have demonstrated strong commitments to using sustainable growing and cultivation practices. Everything available at the Plant Sale is grown to organic standards. Whether you’re a beginning or experienced gardener, you’re sure to find something great!
New this year, we’re hosting weekend plant sale gardening demos throughout the month. These free educational events will take place every Saturday in May from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at our West 7th store. No need to be present for the entire two hour demo period, simply swing by as time allows to speak with staff and local experts during these informal events – learn new gardening skills, receive recipes, taste food samples, and enter our gardening giveaways.
