Join Nettie of Red Hen Gastrolab for a vegetarian, gluten-free and easy-to-make dinner that you can prep in advance. While somewhat similar to tamales, humitas are savory corn cakes made from a mixture of freshly ground sweet corn and cheese, placed inside corn husks and steamed. We’ll be making a delicious version together with fresh sweet corn, queso fresco, and charred tomato salsa.
