Join Midwest Food Connection to make homemade noodles with your kid(s) and family for Thursday’s dinner right in your kitchen. By watching the creation of dough and making their own noodles, kids will learn about the ingredients and processes that go into this grain-based food eaten worldwide. Kids will explore the delicious ways people use grains to make pasta and just how easy it is!
For this class, you’ll just need a computer or phone to connect to Zoom. If you’d like to cook along with River, prepare the following items to have on hand:
- Rolling pin or smooth cup
- Butter knife
- Mixing bowl
- Pot for boiling water
- Eggs (optional)
- Flour (all-purpose wheat or all-purpose gluten-free)
