Ingredients
Baked Brie
  • 1wheel brie cheese
Apple Compote
  • 1ea Honeycrisp apple, small diced
  • 2Tbsp butter
  • 1pinch cinnamon
  • 1pinch ginger powder
  • 1pinch nutmeg
  • 1/2Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1tsp orange zest
  • 1Tbsp orange juice
Toasted Baguette
  • 2Tbsp olive oil
  • 1pinch salt
  • 1pinch black pepper, cracked
Instructions
Baked Brie
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut apples into a small dice.
Apple Compote
  1. Place all apple compote ingredients into a sauté pan or cast-iron skillet.
  2. Sauté on medium-high heat until apples turn a deep golden-brown and begin to caramelize.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside.
Toasted Baguette
  1. Cut baguette into 3/4 inch slices
  2. Line baguette onto baking sheet
  3. Drizzle baguette with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Bake in 375-degree oven for 9-11 minutes or until baguette is light golden-brown.
Baking Brie
  1. Place brie into a baking dish that you can easily remove it from if you plan on serving on a separate serving dish.
  2. Bake in 375-degree oven for 9-11 minutes or until brie is soft to the touch, but still firm enough to hold its shape.
  3. Garnish brie with roasted pumpkin seeds, pomegranate seeds and serve with baguette.
