Ingredients
Cranberry Orange Mocktail
  • 1/4each orange, slicedor one sliced clementine, tangerine, or satsuma!
  • 2-3Tbsp cranberry simple syrupadd syrup to taste
  • to fill seltzer water
  • forgarnish cranberries
  • forgarnish rosemary, fresh
Cranberry Simple Syrup (2 Cups)
  • 1/2 cup cranberries, fresh
  • 1cup water
  • 1cups sugar, granulated
  • 1splash vanilla extract
Instructions
Cranberry Simple Syrup
  1. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, water, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir and bring to a boil over medium-high heat (it is easy to boil over at this stage).
  3. Reduce the heat to medium and cook until the cranberries burst (you’ll hear them. It’s so cool), soften, and wrinkle a bit. Remove from heat cool completely.
  4. Strain the cranberries, pressing down on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Remove the cranberries (which can be used for smoothies, oatmeal, granola toppings etc.)
  5. Pour the syrup into a glass container with a tight-fitting lid. Makes about 2 cups of simple syrup.
Cranberry Orange Mocktail
  1. To an 8-ounce glass, add the quartered tangerines and cranberry simple syrup. Muddle with a muddler or back of a wooden spoon until the tangerine slices are very fragrant and release their liquid. Add ice over the tangerine/simple syrup mixture and top with seltzer.
  2. Stir and garnish with pomegranate & fresh rosemary.
