dried brown lentils

diced tomatoes

cup + 1 Tbsp.
tomato paste

onion, chopped fine

green bell pepper, chopped

Tbsp.
apple cider vinegar

cloves
garlic, minced

oregano

smoked paprika

Instructions
Put all ingredients in your crockpot. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours.
Check for consistency; you may need to remove the lid for the last 30 minutes.
Serve warm in buns or as a side dish. Leftover sloppy joe mixture will keep in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
