Ingredients
  • 16ounce red lentils
  • 1/2cup sundried tomatoes
  • 2each dried chili, wholearbol or birds eye
  • 1each veggie Bouillion cube
Spices
  • 1/4tsp cumin, ground
  • 1tsp turmeric, ground
  • 1tsp coriander, ground
  • .75tsp chili powder
  • .75tsp garam masala
  • 2each bay leaves
Time to Cook!
  • to taste salt
  • 4cups water
Instructions
Assembling the Jar
  1. Layer your ingredients in the jar however you like! Top with the Bouillion cube and cover.
Time to Cook!
  1. Put the contents of your jar into a pot with the water and bring to a boil.
  2. Cover the pot and let simmer on medium-high heat for 20-30 minutes or until lentils are tender. The longer lentils cook, the more they break down.
  3. Season to taste with salt.
  4. You can add any fresh veggies to this soup that you like. Adding onions, carrots, any kind of greens or spinach are great additions. Also finishing with some coconut milk at the end makes the super yummy!
