Create Positive Change

Each time you shop at the co-op, you have a chance to directly support local nonprofits by donating your 10-cent reusable bag credits and rounding up your purchases to the nearest dollar. It may only be a few cents or spare change, but your generosity makes a huge impact — to the tune of over $10,000 each month for our Positive Change recipients!

Face to Face

October’s Positive Change recipient is Face to Face. Face to Face works to advance economic and health equity for youth while providing support, opportunities, and access to resources as they build on their strengths and achieve their aspirations. They see a future where all youth are valued for who they are and realize their potential.

Face to Face is located about 1.4 miles away from the East 7th store on Arcade St.

Face to Face serves young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless in Ramsey County. They provide comprehensive medical care, mental healthcare, housing support, case management, employment training and support, and other social services to low-income and insecurely housed youth ages 11 to 24.

Face to Face serves over 3,000 youth per year.

Donations collected at the registers will strengthen and sustain Face to Face’s comprehensive services for young people. Comprehensive service areas include mental health, housing, education and employment, youth justice, community programs, and a medical clinic with health education.
