Mississippi Market Co-op was started by a community working toward a common goal — creating access to good food. A co-op results from what can happen when people pool their energy and resources together to achieve a common goal. Co-ops are voluntarily owned and controlled by community members. More than 19,000 people have invested in our co-op by becoming member-owners. In return, Mississippi Market operates for the benefit of our member-owners.
At our co-op, we exist to serve our members — it’s what sets us apart. We care deeply about our community; each day, we work together to help support and sustain a local food economy. We couldn’t do this work without you — you are the co-op difference!
