In Person at West 7th: Get Growing: Native Plants for Pollinator-Friendly Gardens
Join Andy Scott, owner of ReWild Native Gardens, to plan your garden with native plants and pollinator-friendly practices in mind. Andy will describe how to select the best plants for your project (available at Mississippi Market’s plant sale coming in May) and offer guidance on the long-term care of native plantings in your home garden.
Participants will walk away with native plant resource lists, sample garden designs for specific sites, and lots of educational information from Wild Ones Minnesota and Alt Lawns of Minnesota.

Andy Scott, ReWild Gardens
A graphic designer by trade, Andy shifted career focus to pursue his passion for nature and gardening to start his small native garden landscape and design business in 2017. Located in Bloomington, he has helped residents and commercial properties convert lawn and wasted space to wildlife-friendly gardens that support beneficial insects, birds and other wildlife. Education driven, Andy likes to not only involve his clients in the design and planning phases, but encourages them to help with planting as well so they can demystify the plant/pollinator relationships that they will be fostering.
ReWild creates garden spaces that beautify your yard while also supporting a myriad of important native pollinator and bird species. Gardens that utilize native plants (and wildlife-friendly practices) not only provide nectar and pollen but also act as hosts for butterflies and bees – giving them support for their entire life cycle.
