Ingredients
  • 12 oz package of Gerhard's Smoked Bratwurst
  • 3 bell peppers thinly sliced
  • 1 large onions thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. extra-virgin olive oil divided
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tso freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
  1. Heat grill to high. Cut 2 sheets of foil about 12" long.
  2. Grill sausages 3 minutes per side, then divide among foil.
  3. Top with peppers, onions and spices and drizzle each with 1 Tbsp olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fold foil packets over the sausage and peppers mixture to completely cover the food. Roll top and bottom edges to seal.
  5. Grill until peppers and onions are tender, approximately 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and cut sausage into 1 inch slices.
