Make your year-end holiday season bright with these wonderfully fresh cocktail recipes, including Pomegranate Martini, Cranberry Orange Fizz, and Spiced Cider. Try the three cocktail recipes below with these easily adaptable handcrafted simple syrups. These recipes can also be enjoyed without alcohol for a delicious mocktail.
Pomegranate Martini
Serves 1
- 1 oz. pomegranate-infused simple syrup
- 1 oz. orange juice
- 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
- 2 oz. soda water
- opt. garnish pomegranate seeds
- opt. garnish lime slices or orange slices
- opt. garnish fresh mint or rosemary
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain over ice with a lime wedge.
Cranberry Orange Fizz
Serves 1
- 2 oz. cranberry-orange simple syrup
- 1/4 each orange, sliced or one sliced clementine, tangerine, or satsuma!
- to fill seltzer water
- for garnish cranberries
- for garnish rosemary, fresh
Combine all ingredients, aside from sparkling water, in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until cold. Pour into glass, top with sparkling water and gently stir.
Spiced Cider
Serves 2
- 5 oz. apple cider
- 2 oz. soda water
- 2 Tbsp. cinnamon-clove simple syrup
- 1 each cinnamon stick for garnish, optional
- 1 each star anise for garnish, optional
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold. Serve with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.
