Founded by Megan Berray-Larsen in January 2023, Mogi Bagel has quickly become a beloved name in the Twin Cities for their delicious New York-style bagels.
The Mogi Bagel Story
Megan began her bagel journey in her home kitchen, driven by a passion for creating the perfect bagel and filling a gap in the Minneapolis market. After teaching herself the art of bagel making through trial and error and extensive research, Megan perfected her recipe. Mogi Bagels are sweetened with malt, hand-rolled, boiled in a water and malt bath, and then baked to achieve their signature crispy exterior and soft, chewy inside.
A Rapid Rise to Popularity
What started as a home-based operation quickly grew as word of Megan’s delicious bagels spread. The demand for Mogi Bagels exploded, leading Megan to quit her full-time job and move her operation into a commercial kitchen, Kitchen Space. Now, with a team of six dedicated bakers, Mogi Bagel produces over 3,000 hand-rolled bagels each week, delighting customers with both traditional and unique flavors.

We are excited to announce that you can now find Mogi Bagels in our deli, featured in a new sandwich that is sure to become a favorite: the Mogi Bagel and Lox Sandwich with the Mogi everything bagel, salmon lox, whipped cream cheese, shaved red onion, capers, and tomato!
