Ingredients
  • 2 14 oz can whole tomatoes
  • 2 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 small white onion
  • 1 chili pepper (see notes below for pepper options)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp sugar could do a little honey or maple syrup. The sugar is a must to temper the acidity.
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend to salsa consistency.
Recipe Notes

*Choose between Habanero, Jalapeno, or Thai Chili for the chili pepper, depending on spice level - if omitting, consider adding more garlic and cumin.
