DIY Instant Oatmeal Packets

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp slivered almonds
  • 2 Tbsp raisins (or a preferred dried fruit)
  • 2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1.15 oz nut butter squeeze packet (i.e. Justin's)
  • 1 medium pear
  • 1 pinch salt, to taste
Servings: serving
  1. Pack the oats, almonds, raisins, sugar, and salt in a ziplock bag or reusable container. When ready to serve, pour contents into bowl or mug.
  2. Boil water over fire or camp stove (approx. 1/4 cup per serving).
  3. Pour in the boiling water and add the nut butter and diced pear, Stir until combined.
  4. Let stand 2 minutes to soften oats.
