Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb. sea scallops
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in minced garlic, and cook until fragrant. Add scallops, and cook for three minutes on one side, then turn over and continue cooking until firm and opaque.
- Remove scallops from heat and add to plate.
- Whisk salt, pepper, and lemon juice into remaining butter in pan. Pour butter sauce over scallops to serve.
