Lilac Simple Syrup
- 4 cup lilac petals (no stems)
- 2 cup sugar
- 2 cup water
- 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
Lilac Lemonade
- 1.25 cup fresh squeezed lemon
- 5 cup water
- 1 cup lilac simple syrup
- lilac ice cubes (optional)
- lemon slices (optional)

Lilac Simple Syrup
- Thoroughly wash lilac blooms and remove petals.
- Bring water and sugar to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
- Place blossoms in a shatter proof jar and pour syrup over. Cover and let sit for at least 6 hours.
- Strain and remove flower petals.
Lilac Lemonade
- If you want to garnish your lilac lemonade, make sure to plan ahead for the ice cubes to freeze overnight.
- In a large pitcher, mix all lemonade ingredients and add ice, taste and adjust to your sweetness, tartness preference, and garnish when ready to serve. Enjoy!
