Image for Natural Ways to Restore Your Favorite Cookware

If you love cooking as much as we do, your pans might look like this. Luckily, you can get them looking like new with some elbow grease and a couple of natural products:

Vinegar + baking soda: Cover pan with a paste of baking soda + vinegar, and let sit for 30 min. Scrub with a damp, sturdy sponge, then wash with soap and water.

Vinegar + cream of tartar: Generously sprinkle cream of tartar over baking sheet, then spray with enough vinegar to soak through. Let set for 8 hours or overnight, then scrub with a sturdy sponge and wash with soap and water.

Baking soda + aluminum foil: Cover pan with a paste of baking soda + water. Scrunch some aluminum foil into a ball (we recommend If You Care recycled foil or reusing foil you already cooked with) and scrub the pan until clean, then wash with soap and water.
