Use the natural pigments found in leaves, flowers, vegetables, and fruit trimmings to create a one-of-a-kind design on cotton fabric. Using foraged and discarded plant materials, participants will arrange a design on pre-mordanted cotton fabric, and use a rock or hammer to transfer the pigment from plant material to fabric. All supplies for this class are included in the registration fee: choose from a canvas tote bag, or cotton bandana. Use the provided plant materials, or bring your own foraged and scrap plants to try out if you like!
